Patricia James is a traditionally trained Cheyenne Pipe Carrier and Priest. She is a cross-cultural expert whose work is informed by mentorship and initiation in multiple indigenous spiritual traditions, and transpersonal healing modalities. Patricia is a teacher, mentor and consultant for the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) Certificate Program in Psychedelic Therapy and Research (CPTR). Patricia is a Board member of the Women’s Visionary Congress. She is a Board member for the American Psychedelic Practioners Association (APPA). Patricia convened the APPA Elder’s Council, a multi-disciplined and indigenous advisory group supporting efforts towards balanced inclusion of Psychedelic medicines into the health care system. Patricia maintains a private practice based in the Bay Area with an international reach. She bridges the practical application to the Mystical utilizing the Braided Way to live life well.
