The Psychedelic Science Funders Collaborative (PSFC)
President and Co-Founder
Joe Green is the co-founder and President of the Psychedelic Science Funders Collaborative (PSFC), a community of philanthropists that supports research on psychedelic treatments and access to psychedelic healing. PSFC was born in 2017 out of a realization that psychedelic medicine has the potential to make an enormous impact but has been systemically underfunded. In 2020, PSFC completed a $30 million fundraising campaign in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) to support the completion of phase 3 clinical trials of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy. Joe serves on the Board of Directors of MAPS.
Joe is also the chairman and co-founder of Treehouse, which builds co-living communities in Los Angeles. He has previously co-founded Causes, which empowered more than 100 million people to make an impact; NationBuilder, a leading software provider for organizers; and FWD.us, which has mobilized the tech community around immigration and criminal justice reform.
