For a variety of reasons worth exploring, fear and propaganda shut legitimate psychedelic research down and criminalized their use. Fast forward 50 years and we see a resurgence in psychedelic research and the onset of an entirely new healing paradigm known as psychedelic assisted therapy. Looking forward - who controls the modern psychedelic movement? Is it based in cognitive liberty with respect to indigenous use or will late stage capitalism prove to be too much for psychedelics to handle?
