Currently, religious groups like União do Vegetal and the Santo Daime are able to import, possess and use ayahuasca - which contains the Schedule I substance DMT - as an integral part of their religious practice. But the right to do so did not come easily. Join us to consider the complexities of religious and spiritual psychedelic use in the United States, and the steps a religious organization needs to take in order to successfully perfect a Religious Freedom and Restoration Act (RFRA) case.
