The critical examination of access, affordability, and reciprocity were key themes at Psychedelic Science 2023. Our community has been asked to consider the legacy of colonial and extractive systems, particularly as they impact the Global South and Indigenous ceremony and communities in our work. As a community, we must ensure that psychedelics do not become another space of exclusion for people of color and all those who have been denied equity in society.
