Once upon a time, the world was an interconnected web of kin. Each being was unique and celebrated for the gifts that it alone could share – its “Queer medicine.” The world is different now. Just as patriarchy oppresses the feminine, a force of heteronormativity oppresses Queer energy. As a result, people of all genders and sexual orientations squeeze themselves into boxes and clip off the parts of themselves that don’t fit the status quo. In this talk, we will explore a more expansive way of imagining sex, love, gender, relationships, and family that will help you reconnect to your authentic self. The world has become sick, and you are the medicine.
