Healing for All, one of MAPS’ Seven Principles, directs us to make psychedelic education accessible to all who seek it.
PS2023: The Virtual Trip is designed to be both an extension of the conference for those who were able to attend and a standalone experience for those who could not. Virtual Trip attendees will have access to the Community sessions of the digital conference through our platform, with new videos being released regularly.
Producing PS2023: The Virtual Trip is costly, but will provide additional value to all who attended in Denver…and those who missed it. If you are able to make a contribution, you can support MAPS in our efforts to ensure that who want access to this learning will be able to have it.
We hope that you will accept our invitation, at whatever level is appropriate for you, to build community and equity in this space.
Scholarships
As a nonprofit, MAPS granted as many scholarships to PS2023 as financially feasible. Ultimately, this included 1,100 full and over 2,500 partial scholarships awarded according to financial need, as well as a few dozen scholarships that included travel expenses for those with the highest need.
The suggested additional gift to support our educational mission If you enjoy a basic level of financial security, please consider this tier if you have steady employment, own a car, feel comfortable eating at restaurants, etc.
This is designed for individuals who have extra income or assets and feel called to contribute to the scholarships of others. Please consider this tier if, for example, you are comfortable with leisure travel, attend festivals, have substantial income or assets, etc.
This rate is for those who identify as wealthy or who own or work at successful businesses, especially if the business supported their attendance at the conference. Contributions at this level do much to help us provide access and inclusivity in this community.
This is designed for those who require financial assistance to access PS2023: The Virtual Trip. It may also be appropriate for those for whom attending PS2023 in person caused significant financial strain. This may include members of equity-denied communities, those working in essential care professions, students, teachers, or anyone in financial distress.
